Is Nebula legit? The astrology app is a real product from a named company: Nebula: Spiritual Guidance, published by Spiritual Nebula Limited and sold on Apple's App Store, where it held 4.6 stars from 171K ratings on 4 November 2026. (Other companies use the name too, with their own review pages under nebula.tv and nebula.app. This page is only about the app.) On Trustpilot the same day, its website's profile held 1.5 out of 5 from 1,417 reviews, and one summary of the complaints centers on a cheap teaser that turns into a subscription.
So the useful question is what you'd be paying for and how to stop paying. This page sets out its listed prices, what reviewers report and how to cancel, each with the page we read it on. We make a competing product, so read us with that in mind. We report what's listed and what reviewers say, and at the end we say when Nebula is the better choice.
Nebula app review: what reviewers report
Two different pictures sit side by side. On the App Store, the app has 4.6 stars from 171K ratings. On Trustpilot, the profile for appnebula.co has a TrustScore of 1.5 out of 5 from 1,417 reviews. They measure different people: one set rates an app from inside the store, and the other came to a website to write something. Neither tells you how most users feel.
- 5 star23%
- 4 star4%
- 3 star2%
- 2 star2%
- 1 star69%
Take that caveat seriously, since people who write unprompted reviews are often the unhappy ones. These are reports, not findings. Unstar, a company that sells review analysis and so has its own angle, summarises the complaints as a cheap teaser, often $1, that reviewers say converts to a subscription of "roughly $42 to $49.99". That comes from user complaints and not from Nebula's price list, and we haven't tested it ourselves.
What Nebula charges
Here is the App Store purchase list, as shown on the US listing.
| Item as listed | Price |
|---|---|
| Premium subscription, six entries | $2.99, $7.99 (twice), $29.99, $39.99, $49.99 |
| $9.99 Chat Balance and $9.99 Chat Balance Offer | $9.99 |
| Daily secrets from birth chart | $7.99 |
| Premium Relationship Check-In | $4.99 |
The listing doesn't show how long each subscription lasts, so we can't tell you what any of them comes to per month. Check the payment screen before you confirm. Its privacy label, which the developer supplies and Apple hasn't verified, lists purchases, contact info, identifiers and usage data among the data used to track you.
How to cancel a Nebula subscription
These are general steps from Apple and Google. They apply to any subscription, and we can't act on your account for you.
- Find out who is billing you. Look at your bank or card statement and search your email for a receipt. Apple's help page says that if you have no Apple receipt, you may have bought the subscription elsewhere, and to "contact the company that bills you".
- iPhone: Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open subscriptions in Google Play, select it, then Cancel subscription. Google is explicit: "When you uninstall the app, your subscription won't cancel."
- If you signed up on a website, contact the merchant directly. If that gets you nowhere, your bank or card issuer can tell you what your options are.
Nebula palm reading, and how Palm Reading Scan differs
Palm reading is one feature of a much broader app: the listing mentions "Palm readings to explore palmistry and hand lines on your hand", beside horoscopes, birth charts and advisor chat. We haven't paid for it or tested inside it, so we can only set out what's listed. Here it is next to ours, using the same kinds of facts. Our palm reading apps page compares other options.
| Nebula, per its listing | Palm Reading Scan | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | An app for horoscopes, birth charts, compatibility, palm readings and advisor chat | A website that traces your palm and reads it |
| To start | Install from the store. Free download, per its listing | Open it in a phone browser |
| Free part | We haven't paid for it or tested inside, so we can't say how much is free | Your lines traced, your hand type, one full line reading, a star map |
| Price | Premium subscriptions listed at $2.99 to $49.99, no durations shown | Complete Palm Reading listed at $9.99. One payment. No subscription. |
| Live people | Yes. The listing describes "Live psychic chat to connect with psychic advisors" | No. There are no human readers here |
The free palm reading is complete in itself, and you never need to give a card to see it. The scanner usually finds your heart, head and life lines on a clear photo of an open hand, and it says when it isn't sure. It isn't reliable on the fate line. The sample reading shows the free reading on an example hand and the offer that follows it, and the pricing page lists what the paid reading would include.
No good evidence shows that palm reading predicts anything, on either product. What both offer is a tradition to think with, and that's worth knowing before you pay for one.
When Nebula may suit you better
If you want to talk to someone live, you want Nebula or something like it. Its listing offers chat with psychic advisors and says it has 900 of them available around the clock. We have no human readers and no chat with people. It also covers a much wider range: horoscopes, birth charts and relationship check-ins. If those are why you're here, we don't offer them. If what you want is one reading of your own hand, you may not need a subscription for that.
